Within irrigation, copper pipe and fittings are essential for building and installing backflows. High quality copper sweat fittings are soldered onto connecting copper pipe.

Copper couplings have two sides which are both slip, and a "stop" in the center. This allows copper pipe to be inserted and soldered onto both ends, without the pipe slipping all the way through the fitting.
