These particular elbows are made with Marlex, a high-density element of the polyethylene, making it extremely hard and rigid. Marlex street elbows are designed to be used with swing joint customization.

How do you make a custom swing joint?
Barded Male Adapter Elbows (sold seperately) can be inserted into either end of flex pipe. The threaded ends can then be twisted into a polyethylene street elbow. Making your own swing joint means that the height of your spray device has more flexibility for customization.
