Sch. 40, 3/4" Reducer Bushing (MIPT x FIPT)

Bushings are a lot like adapters, but with a focus on connecting pipes of different diameters by reducing the fitting. There are 3 types of bushing connectors:

  • SLIP x SLIP
  • SLIP x THREAD
  • THREAD x THREAD

Bushings with both an inner and outer diameter that are threaded are perfect for irrigation systems that require a larger male thread size, than the original fitting. However, without any Teflon Tape (sold separately), threaded fittings will fit together, but will not be watertight. So, be sure to use proper application techniques during installation.
